Zonta is dedicated to achieving gender equality in education and supports scholarships, fellowships and awards for women and girls pursuing education and careers in traditionally male-dominated fields.
2026/2027 Award Offerings
The Zonta E-Club of the UK is offering three awards in 2026/2027. The winner of each E-Club award will be put forward to the relevant Zonta District 29 award panel. Please see below for general information about each award and go to an award’s page for application details.
Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award
The Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award celebrates excellence and recognizes outstanding achievements by women between 18–35 years of age who are driving innovation and creating an impact in the business world. This prestigious award honours exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, ethical conduct and significant contributions
while addressing global or local issues affecting women and girls or climate justice.
The deadline for applications for this year’s award is 21st September 2026.
Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award
The Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award celebrates young women, aged 16 - 19, who are dedicated to building a better world for women and girls.
Applicants are asked to reflect on their voluntary commitment to their school and their community and the problems limiting the empowerment of women in their own country and worldwide.
The Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award programme looks to the young women of today for the leaders of tomorrow.

Zonta Women in STEM Award
The Zonta Women in STEM Award uplifts innovation and celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of women between 18-35 years of age in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Applying for an award
Applications for all 3 awards listed begin by applying to their local Zonta Club. The winner of a club award is put forward to be considered for a district award. In a year where International awards are being offered, the winner(s) of a district award is/are put forward to the relevant Zonta International award panel.
Applicants from geographic areas where no clubs are located may apply to a Zonta E-Club or directly to a district.
